Amel has made her first steps in Hip hop with a pencil; it is from the age of nine that She started listening Hip Hop , writing on texts and poetries, inspired by urban music and literature.
Later, fascinated for the language of Shakespeare and raised by a variety multicultural family, her texts has grown richer and taken an English shape " Porto--french-American " making her becoming an author and a songwriter.
Currently working on a debut album wich will be called "D.R.E.A.M" (Drums, Rhythm, Energy, Art, Music), she cares for developing hip hop music conscientiously with an old school state of mind, singing vocals & swagging lyrics on it. Inspired by various talented old school artists as Public Enemy, Tupac, Bone thugs and harmony or singers as Mary J Blige, she's molding a street hip hop style wich talking about troubles of people, her own experiences and her love for sharing music. Her first album will be rapping as well as singing with a mix of smooth dance, classic instruments and hardcore rap,expected to be released for the end of this year 2011...
