2012 was a year of firsts, we welcomed our first baby boy, moved in our first home and my business took off. But all that changed when Hurricane Sandy hit. Our home was washed away and everything lost. We were jumping from relative to relative, which strained our marriage. Then dealing with our insurance company was a nightmare. The policies were confusing and every time I spoke with an agent, I was told there was a problem with my claim.
I was drowning and no one would help me! After months of getting the run around a friend suggested that I give the good people over at Cohen & Fitch a call. Within a few weeks my prayers were answered and I finally received a settlement from our policy provider. We quickly broke ground on a new home, my business is getting back on track and my marriage is no longer strained. And we’ll be moved in before my son’s first b-day, so thank you Cohen & Fitch for helping my family survive Sandy.
